Let's come together, make sense of the situation and help each other.
These resources are part of Edgeryders work on the Next Generation Internet (NGI) initiative, launched by the European Commission in the autumn of 2016. This work has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 825652 from 2019-2021.
On this page we have gathered together crucial resources, tools and community projects that can form an essential support system for your work life in a time of crisis.
But we can help you find the right person. Here are our most recently active members.
Right now our priority is mobilisation around the Covid19 crisis response.
We predict that this pandemic will have a lasting impact on how we all work. Thriving in the new landscape means looking beyond the next fancy tool. It requires a conscious effort to get socialised in the new digital collaboration contexts available to us.
In 2019 Edgeryders produced a comprehensive manual for Distributed Collaboration with Europe’s largest public private partnership for climate innovation.
These lessons and learning materials will provide a mix of concrete examples, recommendations and general guidelines for changing work culture.

Our theory of change is building dense networks around people trying to tackle messy social-ecological, economic and political challenges. Having a dense network around you is one of the hallmarks of social capital, and gives you access to expertise, resources, skill sharing and financing. In a dense network, there are many ways for you to get from one point to another. A key challenge here is for people with aligned interests to find each other, and as a community we’re out to solve just that.
We are collecting your stories to better understand how we can level up impact of our efforts to fix socialecological, economic, and political challenges. We want to know what you have to say, and we want others to connect and collaborate with you.
Edgeryders is a community of individuals from different walks of life in 80 + countries. Members have been sharing their stories, their ideas, their problems, and their solutions since 2013. All these posts together are what we call our "collective intelligence".
Our data analysis team uses open source methodologies and technologies to create interactive visualisations of the conversations as they evolve. The visualisations make it easier for everyone to find and connect across common interests and new insights.
This is all financed through revenue from research grants, consultancy and training for other organisations.
The best way to learn more about Edgeryders research, technologies or services is a video or phone call. To schedule an appointment, write to kaja@edgeryders.eu
